Did you know that B4C directly supports seven local Bushcare groups?

These dedicated groups help protect and restore our local bushland, waterways and wildlife habitats, and they are always looking for new volunteers!

Whether you're an experienced bushcarer or just keen to get involved, everyone is welcome.

🌱 Pioneer Drive Bushcare – Kuraby

  • When: 2nd Sunday of each month, 3pm

  • Where: Near Pioneer Drive Park, roughly opposite 76–78 Pioneer Drive, Kuraby.

🌱 Passerine Park Bushcare – Rochedale South

  • When: 4th Sunday of each month, 8am–10am (Feb–Nov)

  • Where: Passerine Park, near the Priest Gully creek crossing on Underwood Road.

🌱 Yimbun and Conondale Bushcare – Eight Mile Plains

  • When: 3rd Sunday of each month, 8am–10am (Feb–Nov)

  • Where: Conondale Park, at the end of Malbon Street.

  • When: 2nd Sunday of each month, 8am–10am (Feb–Nov)

  • Where: Corner of Todman Street and Darcy Road (even months) or near Dorking Street (odd months).

  • When: Alternate Wednesdays, 9am (Feb–Nov)

  • Where: Meet at the B4C Sustainability Centre, Carindale.

🌱 Oxbow Wetlands Bushcare – Murarrie

  • When: Alternate Wednesdays, 9am–11am (Feb–Nov)

  • Where: Meet at the B4C Sustainability Centre, Carindale, at 8:45am to carpool to the site.

  • When: 4th Sunday of the month, 8am - 10am

    Volunteering with a Bushcare group is a great way to spend time outdoors, meet like-minded locals and make a practical difference to our local environment.
