Join a friendly local group helping restore a pocket of remnant bushland in Balmoral.Myuna Park Bushcare is a small, enthusiastic group working to gradually regenerate Myuna Park while enjoying time outdoors and meeting other local volunteers.The site contains an ephemeral gully with steep sides and a mix of vegetation. Bushcare activities mainly focus on weed removal and suppression, with occasional native planting.

When: Third Sunday of each month
Time: From 8:30amThe group does not hold working bees in December or January. December is reserved for a social get-together, while January is a break over the summer holidays.Morning tea follows each working bee.

The group works from three different entrances to Myuna Park:The shed at the end of Andrew StreetThe end of Myuna StreetBehind Bus Stop 35 on Lytton Road, between Taylor Street and Boland StreetThe meeting point for each working bee is advised by email and Facebook.
New Volunteers Welcome
Myuna Park Bushcare is looking to grow its volunteer numbers. No specific experience is required, and new volunteers are welcome.Please contact the group before attending your first working bee so they can confirm the meeting location.
