Stellar Carrington Habitat Group

Help care for a small but important riparian corridor supporting a diverse range of wildlife in Carina.The Stellar Carrington Habitat Group works to restore and maintain bushland along a waterway that feeds into Bulimba Creek. This pocket of habitat supports a surprising variety of native fauna, including water dragons, rakali (native water rats), eels and a range of waterbirds and other bird species.Ongoing revegetation and maintenance are important to improving the condition of this challenging urban site.
