Restoration and Revegetation

B4C’s Landscape Services Team has extensive experience restoring bushland, waterways, wetlands and wildlife corridors across South East Queensland.

Projects range from small-scale revegetation through to large, multi-year restoration programs. Works may include site preparation, weed control, species selection, planting, assisted natural regeneration and ongoing maintenance.

Local Native Plant Nursery

B4C operates its own native plant nursery at the Sustainability Centre in Carindale, propagating approximately 15,000 native plants each year. Plants grown through the nursery support B4C rehabilitation projects and local bushcare groups, with seed collection and propagation forming an important part of the nursery’s work.

Our Experience

Yimbun and Conondale Parks, Eight Mile Plains
B4C has supported restoration along the Bulimba Creek corridor at Yimbun and Conondale since 2018. At Conondale Park alone, more than 5,000 native plants were established during 2023 and 2024, supported by ongoing weed control and rehabilitation.

Reynolds Street Park, Carindale
B4C undertakes ongoing restoration of this important patch of remnant bushland and wildlife corridor. Works include weed management, natural regeneration and revegetation with native species to improve habitat, including for squirrel gliders.

Whyte Island, Port of Brisbane
Within the Moreton Bay Ramsar Wetland, B4C has undertaken large-scale restoration across more than seven hectares, establishing over 13,000 native plants since 2023. Rehabilitation includes saltmarsh, mangrove, supratidal grassland, shrubland and dry forest communities.
