Corporate Volunteering Program
B4C has been conducting a corporate volunteering program for over five years. The program has focused on the enhancement of the Bulimba Creek Catchment natural systems and is based around the principles of sustainability.
The day’s activities can include:
Native tree planting Aquatic and land-based weed clearing Habitat creation Natural landscaping Litter collection Flora and fauna educational walksThe program is:
flexible – it can be organised for dates and times that suit the organisationadaptable – the day's activities can be structured to accommodate individuals fitness and physical capabilitiesaffordable – B4C does not charge for the organisation of the day, but does provide an optional catering service for $10 a head for all day events safe – the events are conducted in a safe environment with all risks minimised and a qualified first aid person on sitebeneficial – the multi-faceted benefits of corporate volunteering are listed belowfun – a day outdoors with hands-on activities that helps team building
