Rover Street Bushcare Group

We are a small team of volunteers working at Rover Street to undertake activities that include regeneration and rehabilitation of bushland in the area. The area is opposite the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds, behind the Blue Care facility.

Our Group is made of members of the local community and Griffith University students (generally environmental students) and other interested members from other catchment areas.

We meet on the FIRST WEEKEND of every month. It is generally Saturday mornings for approximately 2 to 3 hours duration. Sometimes we meet on Sundays to coincide with events at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds.

The contact for the Rover Street Group is Russ Smith. You can contact him on his email russells1950@yahoo.com.au or mobile 0418 698 234. Alternatively contact Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee on 3420 4800.
