Introduction to B4C
We are a voluntary organisation, endorsed as a Landcare Group in 1999. B4C coordinates 23 Bushcare Groups and is affiliated with 40 other organisations. B4C works from a self-funded Catchment/Volunteer Centre. 1 paid coordinator under a 3-year NHT Grant. 2 privately owned vehicles are used to transport volunteers to and from sites. B4C volunteers work on 46 sites within the Catchment 56 volunteers work from our centre, servicing up to 850 members of community groups. B4C has a community nursery run by volunteers with output of 9500 plants to service projects.
Mission Statement
- To have an ecologically sustainable catchment with a continuous vegetated corridor.
- The health and natural process of our waterway be protected and enhanced.
- Identify the threatening processes to our catchment and devise actions to remedy their impacts.
