In addition to B4C's own activities doing bushland rehabilitation, there are more than twenty five independent bushcare groups throughout Bulimba Creek Catchment. These dedicated individuals and groups ensure that their local bushland areas are kept free from weeds and work towards restoring our urban biodiversity.
This is a valuable service to the community, but it's also an opportunity for the people involved (and anyone else who wants to join in) to enjoy each other's and nature's company, and learn about our natural areas.
Here are just a few of those groups:
Brandon Road Bushcare Group
Carmichael Park Bushcare
Fox Gully Group
Mansfield Bushcare
Rover Street Bushcare Group
SCRUB
Whites-Hill Pine Mt Group
Wishart Community Park Habitat Group
Wishart Outlook Bushland Care Group

The Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee Inc. is pleased to provide free to member groups a web page on which they can introduce their group's work and contact information. If your group isn't yet at the stage of creating its own web site, this is an easy and effective means of getting your information out to the community in the meantime.
To find out about how to become a member, see our Join B4C page or contact our office.

"We abuse the land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see the land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect."
- Aldo Leopold
