Low Carbon Diet

Addressing climate change in the home

Concerned about climate change and interested in changing your lifestyle to reduce your climate impact? In 2009-10, B4C received a grant from the Queensland Government’s Department of Environment and Resource Management to assist households, and the community group as a whole, to reduce our carbon footprint.

The goal of the Low Carbon Diet is for households to reduce their carbon emissions by 2000 kilos a year. You can start taking the challenge today by going to the Low Carbon Diet website and working out your current carbon footprint.

As this grant is now coming to an end, B4C is conducting a community survey to see how well residents of Bulimba Creek Catchment are protecting our climate. Please take part in this survey by responding to the questions below.

Thank you for responding to this survey. If you would like more information on what you can do to help protect our climate, please visit the Low Carbon Diet Website or drop into our Sustainability Centre for great ideas on how you can protect our local environments and live more sustainably.

We look forward to hearing from you again soon. Many thanks, from the B4C team.
