B4C is a non-profit community catchment group working to protect and bring back our natural environment in Bulimba Creek, one of the largest creek catchments in Brisbane.
We are run by volunteers and aim to create a web of green across the Bulimba Creek Catchment.
We plant approximately 60,000 native seedlings per year of which about 60% are propagated in our nursery. We involve 5,300 people per year through our community open days, corporate tree planting days and environmental education programs. This equates to us engaging at least 1 in every 22 people who live in the catchment. We have created 362 ha of habitat for wildlifeWe have protected 462 ha of urban bushlandWe have committed over 300,000 volunteer hours
