Carmichael Park is located along a long narrow strip between Boundary
 St, the Gateway Sports Club and the houses in Greenslade St, adjoining
 the area known as Twin Parks Tingalpa.

Twin Parks is a very appropriate name as we are an enclave of houses
almost completely surrounded by green space. This green space is l
argely flood plain, indicating that it is protected from development. The
local wildlife, which including Koalas, need help to remove exotic weeds
  and to regenerate these areas with native species.

All are welcome to come and join us to help improve the area for yourself,
your neighbours and the environment.

No experience is necessary as there is on the job and council training available. You will be amazed at how much you learn and what skills you didn’t know you had. Perhaps you have skills you can pass on to the rest of us. Those who cannot do heavy work will find there are jobs for them too. You’re guaranteed a great sense of achievement at the end of the morning.

We generally meet on the SECOND SUNDAY of each month from 7.00am-9.00am. However, it is better to phone first as things do change if there are holidays or weather problems.
